Bus Terminal in Quezon, Bukidnon, Philippines

This road is straightly constructed and still part of the Barangay Libertad of Quezon with more than 1 kilometer stretch.

This Bus terminal of Quezon is not so new nor too old. This was constructed way back in 1998 and is located in Libertad, Quezon, Bukidnon. Barangay Libertad is located about 1.50 kilometers from the Town Proper. The old terminal was located within the Poblacion proper and now converted into a new town plaza.

The total estimated area of this new site of the Bus Terminal is 5.00 hectares  more or less, inclusive of the open space allocated for future expansion. This site was donated by Ms. Annabelle Fortich Jugador, the sister of Kagawad and formerly Vice Mayor of this town, Mr. Michael Fortich. These two dignitaries here in Quezon were the first cousins of the former Provincial Governor, Carlos Fortich.

Took this picture just this November 2010.
LGU is now determine to develop this terminal by re-routing  again all the buses from Davao or Cagayan de Oro City, within its premises. This re-routing system was stopped for awhile in the previous years and restored back  about 2 years ago. They were also determine to expand their commercial district in this Barangay. This town though a first class municipality of the Province of Bukidnon, is still in the process of developing.

I wrote this article for the purpose of giving updates to all passengers , friends in abroad, especially those who have not been here for the past few months or years or quite some time with the same purpose in my article about Maramag Bus Terminal.
