What public transportation are you going to take from Davao to Cagayan de Oro? A Bus from Davao to Cagayan de Oro City via BUDA or other means

What transportation are you going to take from Davao to Cagayan de Oro? Aircon Bus from Davao to Cagayan de Oro City via BUDA--- This is a question on whether you are going to take a bus or other means of public transportation in going to these places like Davao or Cagayan de Oro City. If I were to choose a public transportation especially for long travel, I'd rather take an AIRCON Bus.

RTMI right now innovates to change/improve their buses to give passengers more convenience and comfort especially for long travel-thus- they are now into self fabrication of their own buses. These Aircon Buses are relatively designed for convenience and comfort. You pay a little less just to save money or perhaps you have just enough pocket money to take aircon buses and when you arrive in your destination, I am sure, you have a lot of aching parts of your body. Anyway, that's a matter of choices.

As a traveler, it is much expected that you have to have an extra money. This is because you have to anticipate some possible extra expenditures along the way of your travels. Like for instance, you have to take a good meal, so, expect that you pay more.

Aircon Buses are obviously more expensive than non-aircon buses because they will provide you a less travel time to your destination and have only 4 stops from Davao and vice versa from Cagayan de Oro. They also provide us comfort and convenience or you can have a good sleep by reclining the seats while the bus is in transit. But you just be careful of your stuff and see to it  that they have safety locks, especially hand carry bags.

My first travel in 2011 was in Quezon, Bukidnon. Both in going and from Quezon, I took the aircon buses, for my own convenience and comfort. Aside from the C&C, these buses has a routine baggage security check up before boarding. That means, these buses are quite safe from notorious activities.

Observation :
But if the guards are very lax or careless of their job, there might be a worst thing to happen. Regular or non-aircon buses have no checking guards especially here in Bukidnon. These buses are prone to notorious activities. Also with the terminals, passengers are free to go on board without routine check-ups of their baggages and have no x-ray machines. Unlike in Davao, at the entrance gate, there are assigned police or even military,  in charge in checking up baggages before you will be allowed to enter the terminal premises. This is for the safety of passengers, of course. In Cagayan de Oro and Bukidnon, these practices are very lax, why? Even me, I dont have any answer to that. Or maybe, they would say, "board at your own risk". Another question here, Are we safe on board these buses right now after the bombing incident in Manila?

Sort of Advise :
All we need to do is take some precautionary measures by looking all the possible spot inside the bus where a "bomb" could possibly be placed.

  1. i've tried the cdo-davao via buda trip twice, and i marveled at the contours of bukidnon! it was on a non-aircon bus where early in the morning, it takes in pupils going to school. :)

  2. hello fetus (Lakbay Philippines. Thanks for dropping by here. Yeah, you are right. Bukidnon has a marvelous contours along your way to your destination. It is indeed also more convenient if we take the aircon bus right now when going to davao from cdo via buda. It's just like you're riding your own car with all the comfort.

  3. Another thing. it is very risky if we take the non-aircon bus especially right now that bombing are possibly anywhere else.

  4. yeah, when i traveled there it was the height of the MOA-AD! August 2008! hahaha, my heart kept on pumping every checkpoint we passed. lol.

  5. That's true bai before. maybe right now they restoring back the checkpoints because of bombing incidents. I am not sure with this since I havnt been in Davao yet in the past 1 1/2 years. No update as of today. but anyway we are untouchables coz we are good boys..hehehe.

  6. Never been in Davao so I am looking for information I could get here. I must agree with you guys, the bombing incident was really terrifying especially for that long trip. It's one of the reason why I don't travel that much if it is not so necessary.

  7. @Cagayan de oro jobs.
