Bukidnon | The Splendorous Skies

“It’s the idea that people living close to nature tend to be noble. It’s seeing all those sunsets that does it. You can’t watch a sunset and then go off and set fire to your neighbor’s tepee. Living close to nature is wonderful for your mental health.” --- Daniel Quinn.

I agree with Daniel Quinn that "Living Close to nature is wonderful for your mental health." Aside from de-stressing yourself from a daylong work, it would also gives you some therapeutic effect if you take your time to visit a place where green environment is present.

Like what it did to me when we went home from a daylong visit in Barangay Kalagangan of San Fernando, Bukidnon, when I saw these amazing and breathtaking formation of sky. A very colorful formation. It is indeed an amazing formation of God's creation.
It seemed that the Good Lord gave us message on this formation.  After seeing the Hills and Valleys and the  Pantaron Range, the depleting Hidden Paradise, we need to deeply reflect now, in a collective effort, that we should vouch to protect and conserve our environment.
Do you know what is happening in Boracay right now? Stanley Palisada said in his article, that "it is deeply regrettable that for failing to see the calamitous costs of irresponsible development in the island, Boracay can lose more than just its sandcastles"-as shared by Earl Bolivar of Suroy Pilipinas. This is the outcry of all environmentalists all over the World, not only on the Boracay's case. Watersheds are the mountains that we are protecting with tributaries that connect to the beaches.
Mr. Palisada, further stressed out that "ecological preservation must be a culture of everyone in the island. Communities and businesses whose livelihood depends on tourism must also contribute. But a chunk of the task rests on the government, which for a long time played a bystander’s role in the resort island".
Relentless efforts from the people who fought the plight of all concerned citizens in the conservation of our environment, if those who are in powers, continue its intentions just to satisfy their greediness, our children would be in great danger and the most affected because of that greediness of some people.
Below are additional photos taken on our way home: Let them speak by itself.
