Cagayan de Oro City : Paseo del Rio and the Rotunda, after the Sendong

This was actually taken when we were heading to the domestic airport of Cagayan de Oro City to accompany my mother-in-law bound for Manila. This is more than a month after the wrath of typhoon Sendong that devastated this part of Cagayan de Oro City-the Paseo del Rio and the Rotunda.

This post is to show you some updates through my captured photos on what is now the present condition of the Paseo del Rio today. As usual, they resume their construction activity and have to  push through the project despite of their experience last flash flood that killed more than  1,000 residents along the river bank and other affected areas.
When we passed by this section of the Rotunda, flood marks can be seen on the road. Though it  seems that the investors had already employed its plan B for the project or shall we say it as"Business As Usual".
In this area, I've noticed that it has a lower elevation as compared to the elevation of the nearby commercial area in this City-the Divisoria. No doubt that this place has much deeper flood as compared to other nearby places 500 meters away from this point.
As significant information, Paseo del Rio is constructing its multimillion projects along the riverbank of the Cagayan River.
