Review : Days Hotel in Mandaue, where I stayed for 2D/2N

Where do you want to stay in Cebu City? What hotel offers you a good service? Hotel in Cebu that offers best service and suits your taste? These are some of the questions that needs to be addressed if ever you are finding a hotel in Mandaue City in Cebu for either short or long stay.

Interior and Exterior of the Hotel
They say opportunity knocks once on your door. This is what I've experienced when the Ramon Aboitiz Foundation, Inc. or RAFI in short, emailed me and invited me to join and be one of the witnesses of the 5th Triennial Awards night which was held in Marco Polo Plaza Hotel last March 22, 2012. Yes, I know that I have work in a Bank, but I did not let go this kind of opportunity because it just only passed rarely in my entire life. Another reason was that, I really wanted to visit Cebu long time ago where part of me hail from this province.

I grabbed and answered the call. I joined the delegates of media and blogger in Visayas and Mindanao, and two of us, representing the Bukidnon Bloggers not from a group but as an individual.

I already went to Cebu during my grade school days several times. The second time when we went home from Bacolod with my wife and we had Cebu as our stop over city, before heading to Cagayan de Oro City as point of entry to Bukidnon.

The following day of our stay, without informing the housekeeping section or unit of the hotel, they automatically provide  toiletries and a daily newspaper in the morning.

They also have children's pool and arcade commercial spaces available for lease.

James P. Conception, Days Hotel President, in an interview by the Cebu Daily News, said that,

Cebu has become a world-class destination for tourism. It’s because of that that we have designed our new hotels to cater to such international standards. Our Mandaue hotel that opened last December 2011 have three specialty restaurants and is rated as a 4.5-star hotel”.

  1. RAFI invited you? Wow that's great! But I envy you, I am one of the bloggers whom they sent Press Releases and I didn't received any email or invitation. Maybe they just chose few and probably the best ones. Grats!

  2. Hi Semidoppel. We were invited since Bukidnon has limited numbers of bloggers. Somebody endorsed my name and I thank her very much with what she did. Then RAFI emailed me to join as representative in Bukidnon province. Here in our province, there are lots of sectors that needs RAFI's support in terms of technical trainings among the grassroots heroes. :-). Thanks for visiting my site.:-).
