Duka Bay Resort : Lunch and "Patatim" at Duka Bay Resort

Patatim at Duka Bay Resort. (A Photo Shoot series)

It took almost 5 years since the last time we visited Duka Bay Resort in Medina, Misamis Oriental. It was also a summer vacation with my family. This visit is our 5th visit I guess.

We usually brought with us food every time we visit this resort but last summer, we tried their food menu for our lunch--the Patatim.

A summer break from a usual daily routine is really a need. To unwind and unleash the monotony. One of our choices is to visit Duka Bay Resort this summer of 2013.

This Northern Mindanao break was after we had a great break in Gumasa White Sand Beach in Glan, Sarangani in the Southern Tip of Mindanao.

Patatim is a Filipino Cuisine, steamed to become tender, spurred with spices and poured with soy sauce, add a little amount of water and boiled it for 15-20 minutes.

Price is just within our budget at more or less P200 pesos. Bringing some food with you often times entails very hassle on our part especially if we don't have rides.

Duka Bay Resort is 4-5 hours bus travel from Bukidnon (Central Bukidnon). We suggest to live Bukidnon early at dawn to arrive in Duka Bay before 12 NN as their usual check-in time.
